Football Camp Booking & Refund Policy

Soccer Star Coaching offers two booking options for our football camps: STANDARD and FLEXI.

Please read the information below carefully before completing your booking. By completing a booking, you confirm that you have selected the booking option that best suits your requirements and that you have read and accepted this Booking & Refund Policy.

🔵 STANDARD PACKAGE — NON-REFUNDABLE

Our Standard Package is our lower-priced booking option and is offered on a non-refundable basis.

Customer Cancellations

Once a Standard Package booking has been completed and payment has been made, the booking is non-refundable if you choose to cancel or your child is unable to attend.

This includes, but is not limited to:

●Illness or injury

●Family emergencies

●Holidays or changes to travel arrangements

●Changes to personal circumstances

●Your child deciding that they no longer wish to attend

●Your child being unable to attend one or more days of a multi-day camp

●Incorrect dates being booked by the customer

●Any other reason preventing your child from attending

Where appropriate, Soccer Star Coaching may, entirely at its discretion, offer a credit towards a future Soccer Star Coaching camp or activity. Any such credit is a goodwill gesture and should not be considered an entitlement under the Standard Package.

We strongly recommend selecting the Flexi Package if there is any possibility that your plans may change or your child may be unable to attend.

🟢 FLEXI PACKAGE — CANCELLATION PROTECTION

Our Flexi Package provides additional flexibility and allows you to cancel your child’s place and receive a refund, subject to the conditions below.

Cancellation

Flexi Package bookings may be cancelled up to 2 hours before the advertised start time of the first day of the camp booked.

For example, if the camp is due to begin at 10:00am on 1st August, the cancellation request must be received by Soccer Star Coaching no later than 8:00am on 1st August.

Provided the cancellation is received before this deadline, the camp fee will be refunded, excluding the non-refundable booking/transaction fee where applicable.

After the Cancellation Deadline

Once the cancellation deadline has passed — 2 hours before the advertised start date and time of the camp — the Flexi Package becomes non-refundable.

For the avoidance of doubt, if Soccer Star Coaching subsequently delays the start of the camp because of weather, travel disruption or another circumstance outside our reasonable control, the Flexi cancellation deadline remains based on the original advertised start time, unless Soccer Star Coaching specifically confirms otherwise.

No refund will therefore be available for customer cancellations made after this deadline, including if:

●Your child becomes ill or injured

●Your child leaves the camp early

●Your child attends part of the camp but cannot complete it

●Your child does not attend

●Your circumstances or travel arrangements change

The Flexi Package provides additional cancellation flexibility before the camp begins; it does not provide a refund guarantee once the cancellation deadline has passed.

How to Cancel

Cancellation requests must be made directly to Soccer Star Coaching using one of our advertised contact methods.

The cancellation is only effective once the request has been received by us. The time the cancellation request is received will be used to determine whether it falls within the Flexi cancellation period.

💳 BOOKING / TRANSACTION FEE

A booking/transaction fee may be added to online bookings.

This fee covers costs associated with processing and administering the online transaction, including charges associated with our booking and payment providers.

Where stated as non-refundable at the point of purchase, the booking/transaction fee will not be included in a customer-requested refund, including refunds made under the Flexi Package.

Any applicable booking/transaction fee will be clearly displayed as part of the booking process before payment is completed.

⚽ CANCELLATION, DELAY OR DISRUPTION BY SOCCER STAR COACHING

Very occasionally, circumstances outside our reasonable control may prevent a camp from taking place as originally planned or may result in a delayed start, shortened day or disruption to one or more days of the camp.

These circumstances may include, but are not limited to:

●Extreme or unsafe weather conditions

●Flooding, snow, storms, excessive heat or other severe weather

●Travel disruption affecting Soccer Star Coaching staff or equipment

●Cancelled or delayed ferry/boat crossings, flights or other transport services

●Adverse sea or weather conditions affecting travel to the camp location

●Road closures or significant transport disruption

●A venue becoming unavailable

●Problems with pitches, buildings or facilities

●Health and safety concerns

●Utility failures or emergency maintenance

●Government or local authority restrictions

●Circumstances affecting the safe operation of the camp

●Other unforeseen circumstances outside our reasonable control

Delayed Arrival or Late Start Due to Travel Disruption

Some Soccer Star Coaching camps require our coaching team, vehicles and/or equipment to travel to the camp location, including travel by ferry or other transport services.

Where adverse weather, cancelled or delayed boat/ferry crossings, transport disruption or another circumstance outside our reasonable control prevents our team from arriving at the venue at the originally planned time, the camp may need to start later than advertised.

In these circumstances, Soccer Star Coaching will make reasonable efforts to notify affected families as soon as possible using the contact details and/or communication channels available to us.

Our intention will always be to start the camp as soon as reasonably possible once our coaching team can safely reach the venue and the camp can operate safely.

Where reasonably possible, we may adjust the timetable or programme to minimise the impact of a delayed start.

A delayed start does not automatically mean that the entire camp has been cancelled.

If travel disruption means that Soccer Star Coaching is unable to provide a full booked day of camp, an appropriate credit for the affected day will be provided towards a future Soccer Star Coaching camp.

If more than one full booked day is missed because we are unable to reach the venue, credit will be provided for each affected booked day.

Where only part of a day is affected, we will consider the extent of the disruption and provide an appropriate remedy where required, taking into account the service that has been provided and applicable consumer law.

This applies to both Standard and Flexi Package customers where the disruption is caused by Soccer Star Coaching being unable to provide the booked service, rather than by the customer’s own travel arrangements.

If the Entire Camp Is Cancelled Before It Starts

If Soccer Star Coaching cancels an entire camp before it begins and we are unable to provide the booked service, we will contact affected customers and provide the appropriate remedy in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Where possible, we may offer customers alternatives such as transferring the booking to another camp, rearranging the event or accepting a credit for a future Soccer Star Coaching camp.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

If Part of a Camp Is Cancelled or Disrupted

If a multi-day camp has already started but one or more remaining days cannot safely or reasonably take place due to circumstances outside our reasonable control, Soccer Star Coaching may:

●Rearrange the affected day(s);

●Move the camp to an appropriate alternative venue where reasonably possible;

●Alter the programme or timetable where appropriate; or

●Provide an appropriate credit for the affected portion of the booking.

Any remedy will take account of the part of the camp that has already been provided and the circumstances causing the cancellation or disruption.

Both Standard and Flexi customers will be treated in accordance with this section where Soccer Star Coaching, rather than the customer, is unable to provide all or part of the booked camp.

🌦️ WEATHER CONDITIONS

Football camps are sporting activities and, particularly for outdoor camps, reasonable changes in weather should be expected.

Rain, cold weather, warm weather or other ordinary weather conditions will not automatically result in cancellation.

Soccer Star Coaching will make decisions based primarily on the safety and welfare of the children and coaches.

Where appropriate and reasonably possible, we may adapt activities, alter break times, use alternative areas of a venue or modify the camp programme rather than cancel the camp.

Adverse weather may also affect our ability to travel to a camp location. Where this happens, the provisions under “Cancellation, Delay or Disruption by Soccer Star Coaching” will apply.

🏟️ CHANGES TO VENUE, TIMES OR PROGRAMME

Occasionally, circumstances may require us to make reasonable changes to:

●The camp timetable or start/finish times;

●The areas or pitches being used;

●Indoor/outdoor arrangements;

●Group arrangements;

●Activities;

●Coaches; or

●The venue.

This may include a delayed start where our coaching team is affected by severe weather, ferry/boat cancellations or delays, road closures or other significant travel disruption outside our reasonable control.

Where a significant change is necessary, we will make reasonable efforts to inform parents/carers as soon as possible.

Minor or reasonable operational changes do not automatically create an entitlement to a refund.

👦 NON-ATTENDANCE & PARTIAL ATTENDANCE

No refund is available simply because a child:

●Does not attend;

●Arrives late;

●Is collected early;

●Misses one or more days;

●Chooses not to participate in particular activities; or

●Is unable to complete the camp for personal reasons.

For Flexi bookings, the right to cancel applies only where the booking is cancelled within the Flexi cancellation period described above.

🚫 BEHAVIOUR & SAFEGUARDING

Soccer Star Coaching reserves the right to contact a parent/carer and, where reasonably necessary, require a child to be collected if their behaviour presents a significant risk to themselves, another child, staff members or the safe operation of the camp.

We will always aim to deal with behavioural issues fairly and appropriately before asking for a child to be removed, except where an incident is sufficiently serious to require immediate action.

Any refund or credit in these circumstances will be considered based on the individual circumstances and applicable consumer law.

💰 REFUND PROCESSING

Where a refund is due, Soccer Star Coaching will process it back to the original payment method wherever reasonably possible.

Once processed by us, the time taken for funds to appear in your account may depend on your bank, card provider or payment processor.

Soccer Star Coaching cannot control processing times imposed by third-party financial institutions.

🎟️ CREDITS & TRANSFERS

Where Soccer Star Coaching agrees to provide a credit, the credit:

●May be used towards an eligible future Soccer Star Coaching booking;

●Has no cash value and cannot normally be exchanged for cash;

●Cannot be sold or transferred to another person without our agreement; and

●Must be used in accordance with any conditions provided when the credit is issued.

Providing credit in one particular circumstance does not change the terms of future bookings or create an automatic entitlement to credit in other circumstances.

Where a credit is provided because Soccer Star Coaching is unable to provide a booked day due to travel disruption, adverse weather or another circumstance covered by this policy, this is separate from any discretionary goodwill credit offered following a customer cancellation.

⚠️ STANDARD OR FLEXI — PLEASE CHOOSE CAREFULLY

STANDARD PACKAGE

Lower-priced booking option. Non-refundable if you cancel or your child cannot attend.

FLEXI PACKAGE

Provides cancellation protection. Cancel up to 2 hours before the advertised start time of the camp and receive a refund of the eligible camp fee. After the cancellation deadline, the booking becomes non-refundable.

BOOKING/TRANSACTION FEES

Where identified as non-refundable at checkout, these are not normally returned when a customer cancels, including under the Flexi Package, except where required by law.

Please make sure you select the package that best suits your circumstances before completing payment.

Your Consumer Rights

Nothing within this Booking & Refund Policy is intended to exclude, restrict or override any rights that you may have under applicable consumer law.

Where there is any conflict between this policy and a customer’s statutory rights, the customer’s statutory rights will apply.
