About our soccer camp
The camp will run for 2 days from 10:00am – 3:00pm and is for all boys and girls aged 4-12 in Wednesfield, Wolverhampton and Walsall.
We cater for children of all abilities, ranging from the complete beginner to the more advanced player. Children will be grouped by age.
Our camp is tightly structured with the children fully supervised at all times, as the camp is run by our professional qualified F.A. coaches.
All coaches are DBS checked and currently work with children on a daily basis, enabling players to learn essential soccer techniques, together with a “fun” element.
What can the kids expect?
The action packed ‘fun’ camp, will be run by our friendly coaches.
The camp includes, fun football related games and chances to win extra medals & trophies in competitions such as; Penalty Shootout and World Cup Tournaments, where children will play matches.
Football is a brilliant way to meet new friends!
Lunch
Children need to bring a packed lunch and snacks from home, along with plenty of drinks!
Lunch will be 12:00pm – 1:00pm each day.

Every child receives a MEDAL and a CERTIFICATE !
FREE GULLIVER'S THEME PARK TICKET FOR EVERY CHILD
We have been proud partners with Gulliver’s Theme Park for the last 14 years!
As part of this long partnership, Gulliver’s provide a free theme park ticket to every child who attend our football camps.
The free tickets will be presented to the children on the last day of camp, at presentation.

Who are Soccer Star Coaching?
Soccer Star Coaching is a family run business formed by Justin Tyrrell back in 2006. He now runs the business with his wife Sinead, while juggling family life in bringing up 3 young children.
The majority of our coaching staff are players that Justin has coached over the last 18 years. The coaches now pass on the knowledge and care that they have gained as players on our weekly sessions and holidays camps.
How long have SSC been running camps?
We have been running kids football camps for 18 years Our first camp took place in 2006 and we have been providing fun camp ever since.
Who is the camp for?
Boys & Girls of ALL ABILITIES aged between school years Reception and Year 8.
What’s involved?
The unique practice techniques that we use are specifically designed to work with children of ALL ABILITIES, ranging from the complete beginner to the more advanced player.
The camp is tightly structured with the children fully supervised at all times. This means that parents can go to work or have a relaxing day, as the camp is run by our professional qualified F.A. coaches. All coaches are DBS checked and currently work with children on a daily basis, enabling players to learn essential football techniques, together with a “fun” element.
What can the kids expect?
Lots of fun! All aspects of the game are covered including; dribbling, passing, shooting and more. Each child will be provided with a football during skill sessions. Kids will play matches & fun games every day.
What should children wear?
The camp is held outdoors on football pitches, so children may wear:
- SUITABLE OUTDOOR CLOTHING
Please dress according to the weather each day and bring a change of clothes for alternate weather in case the forecast changes.
- Trainers or football boots
(If your child wears football boots to the camp, please make sure they also bring trainers)
- Shin pads – if possible.
Do children need to bring a packed lunch?
Yes – children need to bring a packed lunch from home and plenty of drinks (No fizzy drinks please)

There are many opportunities to win extra trophies and medals in competitions such as WORLD CUP tournament, penalty shoot out, American Shoot-out, Player Of The Camp and more!!
On the final day of the camp, a presentation ceremony will be held.
Parents/Carers and other family members are more than welcome to attend the presentation.
What will my child need to bring?
As mentioned above, a change of clothes is always a good idea, in case we get caught by a heavy shower.
What happens if it rains?
The camp will still go ahead! We do have use of indoor facilities, however all of the children can’t play in the sports hall at the same time. If the rain is heavy children will be taken indoors to either play football or the coaches will keep the children entertained with quizzes and fun games until the rain passes or is light enough to play in.

Yes, heavily discounted sibling tickets are available for second and subsequent child(ren) in the same household.
